Just tested the project in 3.1 and it doesn't work. If you do decide to redo it for 3.1 that would be amazing, very interested in learning how to do something like this.
From the battle systems that i've seen for game boy, this is by far the most amazing one. Congratulations. The only thing its missing is a level system now.
Really cool! A small suggestion, If you increase the player and actor speed before the Move To Position it’ll make the attacks feel a little smoother and less slow. I have an example of this on my page.
